 Someone posted this on Bluesky - I am guessing it's from either IG or Threads given how the header looks - but it made me laugh so I saved it. 


Yes, leaf litter is often known as "duff" and so they've got Homer the worm, Barney the millipede (? they're detritus eaters so that seems more likely than a predatory centipeded) and Moe the isopod 


I may take a moment to insert this into my Soil Ecology lecture even though I won't teach that before next semester.
