* Met with the potential students and their parents; I think it went well. I'm good at, even if I'm not in a great mood, snapping out of it and being cheerful with people that it's a good idea to be cheerful with. And they seem like promising students; hopefully I helped tip the scales in the favor of them coming here
* Got home early enough to do the workout I just did NOT have the energy to do this morning (my alarm woke me up; normally I am awake 15 minutes to a half hour before it, so I must have been over tired). Also did the PT stretching, so now I'm good to take tomorrow as a rest day from exercising.
* My box of Godine books came. One was a novel called Cherokee (translated from the French), another was a book of free verse poems titled something about an Old Rose Tattoo, and the third looked like a book of portrait photography of well-known people. (This was the pig-in-a-poke box). I dunno; I might take the photography book down to the used book store next time I go there and see if I can get trade credits for it; I will look at the novel and see how I feel about it.The free-verse book I will keep.
I also had ordered a Georges Perec novel/essaybook and a book of essays on craftsmanship; those or the ones I knew and wanted.
* And yes, I am going to Denison tomorrow. I want to go to the "Coffee Collective" place (which also sells a few small items and it's just a nice space to be in. I might even get a tea drink there if they have good teas.....) and I'm going to look for a few more small potential Christmas gifts; I need something more for my sister-in-law and if there's something else to add in for my mom I'll get it.
I also want to go to the natural-foods store and maybe the Kroger (If I walk in and it's smelly again like before I'll bail and.....well, maybe drive over to Pottsboro for the Brookshire's)
They're supposed to eventually get a Michael's in the same shopping center as the Target is in and I admit I'm excited for it, but they said it won't open until "the holidays" so I'm assuming that will be after Thanksgiving at the earliest but it will be nice to have another place that sells yarn (and in my experience they have slightly better selection than JoAnn's does).
* Also, I can sleep in a bit; I don't need to leave here any before 9 am ("sleeping in" for me usually means I sleep until 6:30 or so...). So maybe I catch up a bit on sleep.
