This is Henry:
Henry likes long walks on the frozen beach, herring, and reading the newspaper.
(Details: Wool-ease in black, goldenrod, and that fuzzy white color. Pattern: Pasha. Mods: I didn't knit with the yellow yarn doubled, perhaps his shape would have been better if I did.)
I've also kicked out of the "don't want to knit" mood that I was in since last Sunday or so; I did a bit on the Feather and Fan lace socks. A picture will come after I finish one. I'm using Strapaz wool in a color that KnitPicks called "Spumoni" - a pink, blue, orange, and yellow blend that looks not as icky knit up as you'd think.
Lace socks are fun to knit. They seem to go faster for me than the plain-stockinette ones. I have a little goal of knitting each of the lace sock patterns (well, maybe not Tiger Eye; I'm not fond of doing toe-up) in the Socks^3 book. And I want to get back to figuring out how to do my favorite Barbara Walker Treasury lace patterns in sock form. I'm thinking of trying out the Purl Lace socks in the Socks^3 book using a self-striping yarn; I think the pattern and the yarn wouldn't fight too much.

He's really cute. Somehow, he reminds me of Opus the penguin.
