Here's Finished Item #2:
This is a tweed jacket I (mostly) made while up visiting my parents. The funny thing is, I don't remember buying the tweed - my mom found it and the lining fabric in a box of stored fabric and thinks it HAD to have been mine (she'd never buy brown for herself; she looks better in blacks and reds and bright greens).
I used a Vogue pattern; don't remember the exact number but it was 9-7-something-something.
(I say I "mostly" made the jacket because my mother assisted on putting in the sleeves - something I still find difficult to do - and she sewed on the decorative braid, which is hard to see in the picture, because I got involved with working on other things and probably would never have put it on, after having made a special trip to go buy it.)
