Roger did it, so I guess I will too:
1. What are the 3 most important things everyone should know about you?
a. I am *extremely* sensitive and do get my feelings hurt easily, even by what would be regarded as "normal" teasing. I don't often tell a person if they have hurt my feelings because I was so often told it was "ridiculous" to be upset in that way
b. I am a Christian, but closest to what's called "Mainline"/progressive these days. I get a daily devotional e-mailed to me from the UCC. They're not always ones that resonate but they often do
c. I usually have about 18 "browser tabs" open in my mind at any one time and switch pretty randomly from topic to topic
2. What is the strangest thing you believed as a child?
I remember as a kid wondering if you lived like RIGHT at the North Pole (or I suppose the South Pole), if your house would be reversed every time the earth rotated - so facing one direction at noon and another at midnight
3. Thinking of school classes, which were your favorite and least favorite?
Least favorite is easy: P.E. Mainly because it was taught so badly in the 1970s, and if you were clumsy/not great at sports, it was a chance for kids to ridicule you (and sometimes the teacher, too)
Most favorite depended on the teacher. Some years it was science, others it was reading/English. Still others it was art.
4. What is your favorite fast food?
I used to like the grilled chicken sandwich Sonic had, but they dropped it off the menu. I don't eat much fast food; if I'm grabbing carry out I'll get from one of the local mom and pop places that does carry out, or if I'm out and getting a meal I'll do fast-casual like Panera
5. What song comes closest to how you feel about your life right now?
Pass for now. I don't know. I mood swing a lot in the summer; it's part of my reduced tolerance for heat and humidity.
6. Have you ever taken martial arts classes?
No. I think I'm probably a little fragile to do it now. Years back I was going to sign up for a Krav Maga based self-defense class but not enough people signed up for it after I did and it was cancelled.
7. Does your life tend to get better or worse or does it just stay the same?
It's felt worse for the past couple years largely due to external reasons. Maybe it's starting to get a little better now, I hope
8.What arts and crafts have you tried and decided you were bad at?
I'm not great at drawing and painting. I tried throwing pottery on a wheel when I was in high school and my efforts were pretty amateurish but I think if I had had more time to practice I think I could get pretty good.
9. What is the truest thing that you know?
Currently the advice I give people is: "Don't believe anything you think about your life after 9 pm." Even when things look bleak then, they look better in the morning.
10. Are you more of a giver or a taker?
I try to be more of a giver, it seems to be my lot and I try to be happy with that.
11. Do you make your decisions with an open heart/mind?
I'm not sure I know what this means. I consider the choices and try to choose the best for all concerned, or at least the least harmful. For minor decisions (like what to order at a restaurant) I don't give it too much thought and go by "vibes"
12. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?
I've had migraines bad enough I thought I might be having an aneurysm, where I literally could not move without excruciating pain and nausea. Breaking my elbow didn't hurt that badly, the aftermath of having wisdom teeth removed was easy compared to those. The only thing that came close was having a temporary crown crack (and me not realize it for several days) after having a crown prep done on a "live" tooth.
13. What is the most emotionally painful thing that has ever happened to you?
Losing my father and dealing with the after math of that - helping my mom with the paperwork, having to answer some questions she was too overwhelmed to answer.
14. What is your favorite line from a movie?
"That'll do, pig." Just sort of the simple praise of a simple man of few words.
Runner up: "Remember, no man is a failure who has friends."
15. Can you eat with chopsticks?
I've tried a few times, unsuccessfully. I've had people show me how. Again, maybe with practice I could do it.

1a used to be true for a good long while; I don't think I'm less sensitive, just more tired and unwilling to cede my ground to bullies. 1b is true, though PCUSA (Presbyterian). Christianists who purport to describe hate as God's way tick me off big time. 1c. I close more tabs because it makes my computer too slow. 3. My gym teacher from 4th to 8th grade was a sadist, especially to fat kids like me. 14. I LOVED Babe.
