quick catch-up:

In my county of 25,000 or so, there have been eight identified cases. (Of course, there could be presymptomatic/asymptomatic people, and I don't know how extensive testing has been). Of those, two are reported to have recovered and no longer show viral RNA, and one died. So that's what? Five active (known) cases?

I guess it's probably OK. At least with a mask on, and being careful to steer clear from people.

I mean, a week ago Wednesday I thought I was going to get whacked by a tornado; you really never do know.

I am going to order-for-pickup the string trimmer; that way I won't have to go in to the enclosed store - I can just quick duck into the (open air) garden center for the plants.

I've also seen a lot about how the worst cases seem to stem from a high level of exposure - which explains the medical professionals and also possibly the people in confined locations (prison inmates and people in nursing homes).

But yeah. i will be careful, and if it looks super busy, I'll just pick up the trimmer and live without the flowers.
