another closet cosplay

I will probably have to add a heavy shawl (I have a fluffy off-white one that will probably work) over this because it is COLD out today, but here's my attempt at Marie Curie:



Intentionally little make-up, because proper women of her day didn't rouge their cheeks or lips. I also dragged out my older glasses because I thought the cat's-eyes were too anachronistic but I might carry them over in my purse because I can tell the older prescription is off for my eyes now, and it's possible I could get a headache.

The trickiest thing was the hair. I tried to make the forelock into a little pompadour and pin it there, but my hair is kind of flat and I had nothing that would work as a "rat" to puff it up.

I still have to find a test tube (over at work) that will fit the glow-stick. (And I have extras in case this one poops out).
