There are Certain People I oh, so want to say this to right now. (Students, as well as others). And maybe have a judicious application of duct tape (or, okay, that blue painter's tape, taking it off would hurt less) to their mouths to make the lesson stick a little.

It's really not nice to laugh at someone who is presenting information on something they care deeply about. Especially when they're from a different culture from you and see the world a little differently.

And I still say it's not nice to say snarky things about people not present to defend themselves.
