There's a bad old saying used by dieters: "A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips."

A modern variant of that could be: "One question asked of a site; forever on their e-mail list." I keep getting e-mails from an outfit selling GPS devices because I inquired about their prices and what they carried 2 1/2 years ago when we were upgrading for a class I teach.

Many sites, I can find their opt-out, this one I can't. So I'm still getting (and deleting) e-mails from them to my work address. Oh well.
