Well, umbilical-cord hat #3 goes to its new home today. (This one is out of lilac-colored Baby Teri. And the last time I was at Wal-Mart, I bought a skein of the pink and a skein of the blue, to have on hand, just in case. It seems that there's something in the water 'round here and I suspect I may be getting some more baby annoucements soon).
I'm almost done with the prayer afghan for my dad. I may finish it tonight.
Last night, I learned the basics of how to play contract bridge. (My church instituted a "grown-up games night" once a month; last night was the first one). It's actually a pretty fun game. No, I won't give up knitting in favor of bridge, but it is an additional skill-set and I can't help but think that every new thing you learn is good for you.
it helped that I (playing partnerless; my 'partner' was usually the dummy) wiped the floor with the other players. 1410 points (mostly bonus points) in my first game.
