It used 2 skeins of Cinema in the color "George Bailey" and almost two skeins of Portrait in the color "The Postman."
One thing the picture can't convey is the lovely texture of the scarf - it's warm, and drapey, and soft. And it has a slight sparkle, from the ribbon tape in it. It's a very satisfying project.
I'm trying to remain positive today. Dinner last night was a spoon of peanut butter and a glass of Carnation Instant Breakfast eaten over the sink at 9:30 pm when I got home from my meeting. I have another meeting tonight, and yet another on Wednesday. I also found out yesterday that there will be NO flu shots on campus this year - and, from what people were talking about at the meeting last night, it sounds like most of the local doctors got hosed on having flu shots available too. I'm very scared about this coming flu season. If I get sick, really sick, I have no one to take care of me and that frightens me.
