There are so many projects I want to start. I have to keep myself on track, especially as far as the holiday projects are concerned, but here are some things I've been thinking about:

I'm going to use the 127 Print (when it arrives) for a button-front hoody. I'm going to look at the Purl Stitch pattern and see if that gauge will work, if not, I'll look around and find a pattern I can modify. I like the idea of making a nice, cozy, not-too-formal sweater out of it.

I found some cerise colored Imagine in my stash last night, which I bought for a moebius scarf. I want to start that some time too. And I have some Paris in-stash for a cowl.

I've been looking longingly at my sockyarn, especially the space-dyed Interlacements stuff. (I have some in the color called Carbon Dioxide [no, I don't know why it's called that] and enough of the Stained Glass color combination left from a pair of socks I made for my mom to make socks for me). But of course, it's Socktober! so I should give in and cast on for a pair.

Eliza Bennet's Lace Shawl (this is a new pattern to me, it's one of St. Seraphina's). I have some perfect stash-yarn for this - Cherry Tree Hill Superglitz in the Old Rose color.

I also want to make myself some gloves, either out of a fun funky self-patterning yarn (I have some Regia 6-ply that would work well) or out of some leftover Baruffa "7 Settembre" (which I also don't know why it's called that) in my stash for.

And of course Clapotis, out of the blue-green stashyarn.

Part of the fun for me of the knitting process is daydreaming about what I COULD start if I gave in to startitis, or what I should consider making next.

Fall, and my thoughts turn to wooly sweaters, and big enveloping scarves, and toasty-warm gloves...and to Christmas presents for those I love, and to sitting with my feet up in my big chair, a cup of tea by my side and a good old movie on the telly while it rains outside...
