Oh, and I saw this in a catalog the other day.

I want one.

It is an irrational want. I don't NEED a $175 thingy that shows (by color) what the temperature is outside, and blinks when it's going to rain (in fact, I think I'd find the blinking feature really distracting and annoying). Also, I'm guessing it's cued into the NOAA signal, which is never 100% accurate for where I am (I have to go by what it's like in either McAlester or Ardmore). But still, it's so cool. I still want one.

update: aw, crud. My area isn't part of the coverage area. I'm in the supposedly 10% of the nation without coverage for this device. So although it's cool, there's absolutely no point in gettingone.
