Did another thing

Spent part of Saturday working (still not done with Rosidae but close) and had knit-group-over-Zoom. Except, I sewed down most of the binding on one of the several quilts I have back from the longarmer and need to bind.

Today, I mostly cleaned house. It was bad. I think the pandemic DID affect something like my executive function; it's harder for me to just buckle down to a task I don't HAVE to do right then but needs to be done at some point, and also I find it harder to work concentratedly on things. So I just told myself that I would do a short list of things (needed to vacuum/mop the kitchen floor, needed to get the dust up off the living room floor, needed to put some things away) so I managed to get kind of the minimum necessary amount done.

I also tied in the ends on the gift project (photo will come after the person receives it) and started a blanket square for a group project.

Next week is spring break, which makes things feel easier. I can probably finish Rosidae tomorrow and then start working on Asteraceae and I should be ahead enough not to have to drag my stuff with me on break - I'm only going to be there four full days (arrive midday Sunday IF there aren't huge delays, leave Friday late afternoon) so I would rather not drag work along. (Instead, I want to do the neck and button bands and pocket on A Cardigan for John and maybe finish the socks I have on the needles)

The pandemic sucked, even if you didn't get sick.
