a little thing that makes me irrationally happy:

Opening up my "friend activity" page on Ravelry and finding out one of my "friends" "favorited" a project of mine.

(For those outside Ravelry - that means they liked it and clicked on a button that gives it a little heart. Silly, but it makes me smile.)

****

One more class to teach and then I am taking the afternoon off to take my two quilt tops to be quilted. And probably hit the Target as well.

(It's funny how careful you need to be even in casual writing. I first said "run my two quilts down" but that sounds like I was running over them with my car. Then I said "take my tops off..." and immediately went, "wait, no. That really didn't come out the way I wanted it to.")

That's funny. I thought that was just one of my silly little quirks. I often worry about the way I word things online even if everybody says it that way. I think about people outside the US reading it and either being confused or thinking I mean something else.

...because the way we say things might be different from the way other people would, not that people in other countries aren't smart enough to figure it out. Just wanted to make that clear.
