It was a relief to be able to come home last night and just put my feet up and not go out.

I did some knitting



I finished the first of the retro-rib socks and cast on for the second. This is knit from a Cherry Tree Hill handpainted sock yarn, I think the color is called "Monet."

I'm not as crazy about how it turned out as I thought I would be when I first cast on. I think busy variegateds like this one are best in slip-stitch patterns or some kind of pattern where they're incorporated with a plain solid color.
