It was actually LIGHT when I drove to work this morning.

I always forget how happy I am when DST ends. (And I'm sad that next year it will both start earlier and end later, thus condemning the probably-large percentage of the American population who commutes early in the day to driving to work in the dead dark. Which just feels depressing and wrong to me.)

Oh! Me too me too me too! I hate DST! I am so glad when the dark comes snuggly at the end of the day instead of grogily at the start. boo. and hoo.

but we can enjoy our cozy evenings now.

Thanks for checking in on me. This was not TheBigOne. But it was big enough.

hugs

Well, I came home in the pitch dark, which always feels worse to me--like I've worked until midnight even though I actually left work early and it's only 5pm.
