some cool, science-y type stuff:

Fossilized snowflakes. I wish I lived somewhere where I could try this. It sounds very cool.

Ripping records straight to an iPod. I love this for its Rube Goldbergian quality, and also for the fact that you could FINALLY transfer those 78s to a medium where they can be listened to on-demand without searching for a fresh phonograph needle or fearing that you'll drop them and make them shatter.

I am not a beer drinker, but if I were, I'd want a t-shirt with Adam Savage's "Science, plus Beer, equals Good!" equation from Mythbusters*. Here's another example of Science+Beer=Good or at least Amusing. (It can post the drinker's BAC to a website).

(*Apparently the only t-shirt they currently sell has the Mythbusters logo and the words "Human Guinea Pig" on it. But I think they could make a killing with "Science plus Beer equals Good" and also with "I reject your reality and substitute my own" Or other catchphrases. The nerdy fanbase would probably eat it up - nerdy fans ALWAYS want t-shirts with the catchphrases on them)

Thanks for the snowflake link. I just wish I had it back when it was still really cold. The url, however, is now saved for next winter. Thank you for linking to my site. It is nice to be linked to.
