Woo-hoo!

I emailed a letter to Piecework, saying how much I enjoyed the articles on the needlework toys (and also telling the likely provenance of the patterns in Carol Pearsall's article - I think they were Joan Russell designs, they look like a couple of hers).

I got an email back just now - they are going to print my letter in the next issue! cool. And they are sending me "complementary copies" - I don't know how many that means. I am already a subscriber, so I'll get one through my subscription. Maybe, if I get enough (gonna pass one on to my mom), I'll offer to send them out free to anyone who reads my blog, is not a Piecework subscriber but would like to see what it is like. I don't know.

I'm just jazzed that my letter made it in. I've written letters to other publications before and never seen anything come of it.
