Finished the "dream scarf" (this is the one that I saw the stitch pattern for in a dream) last night. I think I need to wash it before wearing, it's a bit scratchy.

I also knit some on the Fall Foliage socks. I'm using a twisted-knit stitch (kbl) on the ribbing of these and I really like how it makes the ribbing pop.

and I have to come clean on something: Yesterday, Anne wrote about her husband and son's fascination with "Totally Spies."

I have to admit, I like the show too.

It's silly but entertaining. I also have to admit to liking "Teen Titans" on the same network.

My mother (who reads a lot of mystery novels) argues that a great number of highly intelligent people (she cites President Kennedy's fondness for Ian Fleming novels) have some kind of escapist "literature" that they like.

okay, so "literature" must be used very loosely when talking about "Totally Spies," but, like, whatever, you know?

besides, I always wanted a combination lipstick case/laser. Or to be able to dismiss other people's worries or objections with a wave of my hand and a mighty "WHAT-ever!"
