Finished the swap-socks this weekend. I should get them in the mail tomorrow, when I go to have my mail held while I'm out of town (I finalized the Hot Springs plans).

I also began a new pair of socks, to take with me to work on in the evenings in the hotel (I don't like going out at night in strange cities, so once I'm done with dinner, I'm in for the night). I finally started the Canal du Midi socks from "Knitting on the Road". I am using a Lorna's Laces in, I think the color was called, Wisteria (a blend of lilacs and pinks). I'm not sure how they will turn out - this is my first real experience doing travelling stitches, and I think the right-cross looks better than the left-cross. I just hope the pattern shows up well enough in the variegated.
