Well, for all the times I've complained about W*l-M*rt, I have to admit they came through this time. I had to run out this evening (in the cold, cold rain) for printer paper (when you're out of printer paper, you're out of printer paper) and I decided while I was there to see if I could get some of the supplies needed for the marble magnets.

they, amazingly, had everything. Excellent thick round magnets, silicone glue (that claims to dry clear...we'll see), and the half-marbles. Woo! They also had, on the "scrapbooking" aisle some sweet little stickers that would be just the right size. I bought a pack of ladybug stickers and one (even better) of little tiny cat and dog paw prints. Those will be perfect for my brother and sister in law.

I made one sample magnet (with a pawprint sticker) to be sure the glue does indeed dry clear. It said it took up to 24 hours to cure.

I hope it does dry clear; it was the only one they had that didn't have tons of scary chemical warnings on the card, and it has relatively little odor to it. If not, I'll have to try something else, I guess.

this means I don't have to take the 1/2 hour down, 1/2 hour back drive to the Hobby Lobby tomorrow.
