I'm pretty tempted to get the supplies for some marble magnets (link is to Not Martha's page, she has links to other sites) tomorrow and make up bunches of these for little additional Christmas gifties for the people I know.

I've been thinking for a while about how fun it would be, and I also realized I have a whole mess of old catalogs and magazines I could cut up and use as picture-sources. And I have some patterned origami paper. And (I suspect) I could print things off of Internet sites (like flower pictures) for people with particular interests. Or photocopy pages.

I could make my co-worker Diana a set of magnets showing the floret detail of grass plants from copies of the line drawings in the Hitchcock and Chase guide to American grasses....you can get very specific with your little pictures.
