T-minus 3.5 h!
I am so ready to hit the road and get on break. I packed and cleaned house last night. So here's the list of possible projects to work on on the train or while on spring break:
Spanish Shawl
Mini-ringel socks (the first one is nearly done)
Latvian socks - I am on the 3rd of 7 lace repeats on the leg of the second sock. I hope to finish these over break.
I also have yarn packed away in case I finish the socks in progress: Regia Jacquard in the new color "Vienna" and some Regia Norway in a black-and-red combo. I also grabbed a couple of skeins of lavendar dk weight and the new Heels and Toes Gazette which has a neat cabled sock pattern in it for dk weight yarn.

I know, that's waaaaaaaay too much for a week break where I will also have to do taxes and meet with a research collaborator. But I remember the lesson of the 12-hour-delayed train trip at Christmas 2000 and like to keep lots of stuff to work on...
