weekend is here

And I don't "have" to do anything (other than bake a cake Sunday afternoon for CWF meeting on Monday).

I've decided to mask up and go antiquing. I thought briefly about going to Hagerman and hiking around a bit, but it's been VERY windy (and may still be tomorrow) and allergens are really high and my allergies have been bad this week.

I also do want to go to a bigger, nicer grocery store. I guess I'll risk using one of my *remaining* credit cards, though since I won't use a self-check-out maybe it will be less of a risk. I did get some cash; I will probably gas up the car that way because the self-pay gas pumps are just known hotbeds for skimmers.

Also, just catch up a bit on sleep. It's cooled down again so I can sleep decently at night (at least for a while, until it gets hot again). Spring here IS really nice but unfortunately many years it gets really hot really fast, and I'm hoping this year we get a good string of days in the 70s so I can maybe do some stuff outside when it's pleasant.

Next week - no exams to give (or grade), and Friday is Good Friday so even though I have a couple evening commitments at least I get a day off.

I've also been picking away a bit at the "fractured four-patch" top - the one with the weird 1970s-esque prints I've been using.

I think what I lack is novelty - that's why the antique store appeals, you never know what you'll see there and even if there's absolutely nothing you want to buy, it's still interesting in a way that, like, going to the Kohl's would not be interesting.
