Yeah, tomorrow is the exact one-year anniversary of us going all virtual, and the anniversary of me NOT traveling (not by choice, but based on my decision that it wasn't safe) for Spring Break.
Again this year I am here for break - though that's partly that I need to get some research work done, though also, I didn't know I'd be vaccinated this early - and anyway, maybe a little too early to travel.
But tomorrow? I am taking the day OFF. I am sleeping in as late as I need to, and going to the natural-foods store in Sherman that I have not been inside of for a year, and I might even stop off at the quilt shop in Denison first. (yes, yes, masked, of course, and being cognizant of personal space, but it feels safer now for me than it has since this time last year).
