Carols auf Deustch

I've mentioned before that one of my primary heritages is German (Well, I have more Irish than anything, but German is probably next). And I've tried to learn the language; I am not great at it.

This is an hour of German carols. They are, as far as I can tell, all religious carols (so: O Tannenbaum is not there, even though that's what most Americans think of first for German carols. These all explicitly reference the birth of Christ). I have not listened to the whole thing but it starts off with what we know as "Lo, how a Rose E'er Blooming" and has some classical pieces in it. And a few unfamiliar ones. (It also has - second on the line up - the one I know as O Sanctissima)

Did you do an Ancestry or 23 and Me DNA thing? I'm about a quarter Irish.
