I got to thinking about this the other day. Can you sum up your life philosophies into a few sentences?
Here's what I came up with:
1. Be the kind of person who does what they say they will.
(I have had too much sad experience with people saying "Sure, I'll do it" and never following through. One thing I pride myself on is my reliability).
2. Don't be a jerk to other people.
(This encompasses SO much....don't gossip, don't say things that are calculated to just make you look good by making them feel bad, don't keep people waiting on you, don't be rude, and on, and on....)
3. Try to have fun.
(This is probably the one I fail at most, because I tend to put #1 above front and center and above other things. But having fun in life is important - provided it doesn't violate #1 and #2).

Also, I saw this prank linked on Twitter.
Now that's the kind of prank I like: slightly silly, elaborate, unlikely to hurt anyone (or cost anyone their job).
I'm not big on most pranks because they are so often mean or done at someone's expense, but this one seems just kind of benign, and as I said, silly. (Though I will admit sometimes people on college campuses do still twitch when an unidentifiable package shows up: I remember being told as a youngster by my dad if a package ever showed up addressed to him, that had an excess of postage on it and just seemed hinky, not to bring it in the house. Yes, those were the Unabomber days, and while my dad wasn't involved in anything that the Unabomber would have likely targeted, still, I think that concern existed.)

This is a good philosophy.
Especially #1. People who make promises and don't follow through...just stop already, mmkay?
