Little administrative note

I'm going to TRY to have some embargoed posts coming up over the break. However, because my Internet access will be spotty, I'll be going to "no anonymous comments" (I know I have a few people who comment that prefer not to do the login thing, but I deleted some 50 "anonymous" spam comments from over my few days' break, and I'm sorry, but it's not worth letting my mailbox fill up)

I'm not sure what spam comments are most like. One of the Peanuts gang (maybe Linus?) commented that getting a chain letter was like getting gum stuck to the bottom of your shoe. I don't think spam comments quite rise to the level of being stuck in a long grocery line behind someone with a screaming child, but it's similar. Or maybe it's like that guy with the really loud truck (old motor, no muffler) who periodically drives through the neighborhood. (I have one of those: a relative of one of my neighbors has a circa-1979 Chevy pickup that sounds like a helicopter taking off).

And now, back to Biostats grading. Grading, ugh.

A spam comment is like a door to door salesman so lots of spam comments are like if you had lots of door to door sales people, one after another, show up while you were having a party.
