And I'm hoping there will be another "more than equal to life's little annoyances" for today, but I'm currently stuck in on-hold Purgatory trying to get my refund for the sleeper car I could not use.
Note to the wise: Amtrak's "Refund" department only processes refunds BEFORE travel were to have taken place. Or so I have been told. I could, of course, be told something totally different the next time I talk to someone.
Normally I'd not waste my time this way, but it was considerably over $100, and I can't let that amount of money go.
