Thanks for all the suggestions/support on the PT thing. I do want to try to get some exercises - if I go to someone and they try to push muscle relaxants on me, I'm going to tell them it's not bad enough of a problem for that, and that I prefer to try drug-free solutions whenever possible (it's true). (Which is why I'm thinking a physical therapist - someone who goes with exercises - might be the best first step).
I just hope they don't tell me to give up knitting or playing the piano. Though I really don't think either of those contribute, and in some cases, the piano (in particular) seems to relieve the tension.
