Well, it's up to 19* C in my office now. I do not know if that is from the sun coming in the window or the fact that the blower is now on and is blowing air that is marginally less cold than the air in the room. But my nose is still cold and my fingers are still cold and I have begun coughing because apparently the blower is kicking up dust.
But anyway. How about something that will eventually be a nice, warm quilt?
I decided to start sewing the rows together on the Zipper quilt (seven are done and attached here; I have four more to do). Good thing, too, at first I sewed a couple on "upside down" (not that you could tell immediately but I realized it was off when I looked closely at it). So I ripped and resewed and decided to attach each new row as it's finished.
I take up my student papers today. I already have two - one young woman who broke her nose in a basketball game this weekend (and had to go home because she was in pain and needed to take more meds) and one guy who...well, I guess he's just skipping class today. Whatever. I've started reading the basketball player's and it's pretty good. So we'll see. I'd really like to get these graded today but I'm not sure if I have enough time, it takes me a good six our eight hours to read through and write comments on and compare all the papers, and another hour or so to assign points to them.
