Surfing the web to stay sane. I can't believe how easily some people disregard written instructions (those people need to learn how to knit! Not only will they quickly find that following instructions is important in many cases, but also they'll learn to tell when an instruction is wonky and should be disregarded).

Anyway, here's a really nice lace shawl pattern (.pdf file) called Kiri. It was linked in Knitter's Review, I'm guessing (tho' I don't absolutely remember) that Christina C. linked it - she finds most of the cool free patterns that get posted on there.

I think this one will be used with the "Jalapeno" colored fingeringweight Scots yarn I bought from Elann several months ago. So it's not the gossamer kidsilk yarn - I much prefer working with a less fuzzy, halo-ey yarn.
