Love to knit them mousies, mousies what I love to knit
(well, not really. I'm happy they're done. I don't like making several versions of the same pattern all at the same time).
I also finished the Kureyon hat:
(Yes, my hair wants cutting.)
The nice thing is, I have a second skein (plus a tiny bit of leftover from the first) to make a second hat, for my Gift Box project. (I bought two skeins because Kureyon is one of those yarns that sometimes runs a bit short (or a bit long) in individual skeins.)
I also started the Zing shawl - oh, I guess I didn't admit, I broke down and bought the Moda Dea Zing for the simple furry shawl they have on their website. I worked on that while reading some this weekend. It works up gratifyingly fast - it's almost half done, and I only began it on Saturday. (No pictures yet, and I don't think a picture can really portray the wonder of the shawl. The fur yarn is slightly "tipped" so it looks more realistic, and it has strands of sparkly stuff in it). No, I still don't know where I can wear the shawl, but if nothing else, I can put it over my shoulders when I'm at home in the evening. It's a very nice luxurious thing, kind of like those fake-fur blankets (but not quite as over-warm).
