one good thing, one sad thing, and one sort of funny thing:

The good thing: I am getting my internet exploder fixed. I asked the campus computer guru about it and he said there was a file for free download, or a CD with it on for like $5 off of the m!cr*s*ft site. So I went with that, because my Netscape is old and some pages look really ugly on it. So that's one of the horrors of the past week fixed.

The sad thing: cleaning my kitchen this afternoon, I knocked the wonderful little Boudom tea press I had been using to brew loose tea off of the counter and it shattered. This had been a gift from my parents and I always feel worse when something that was a gift gets destroyed.

The funny thing: coming home Friday night with three textbooks (of six we are supposed to review and decide between for a new class), the biggest and heaviest one (which also, unfortunately, is the front-runner) fell out of the back seat onto my toe when I opened the door. I think my toe is broken. No, I'm not going to the doctor over it, all they will do is tell me to be careful of it and hand me a big bill.

I have the Cisne scarf nearly done. And the first of the Feather and Fan socks for my mom.
