Saturday afternoon I did a (little) cleaning in the sewing room - got some new plastic tubs and started unloading the magazines I don't currently use as pattern sources into them to free up shelf space for books.
In the process, I found I have 2 copies of Coffeehouse Knits
I'd be happy to send it on to someone (would prefer a US address to avoid messing with Customs forms and higher mailing costs) if anyone would like it.
Sunday, I made a few more blocks for the ongoing quilt. These take subcutting - they are that sort of "shattered four-patch" that people sometimes to - so they are more tedious and time consuming, but they do give a nice finished effect:
Two of the fabrics are nut prints...
The colors remind me of 1970s era prints, that sort of "Americana" look with the intense blues and reds. The colors don't totally "go" but somehow they still work.
I think I showed this one with apples before - it was one of the first ones I made for proof-of-concept.
I did also sort some of the piled-up fabrics into other bins - I have a LOT of bee-print fabrics, and also a number of unicorn prints, so eventually I will need to do a bee quilt for sure.
I do want to try to carve out more time, maybe on Sunday afternoons, and try to run through some of my accumulated fabric for tops. Even if I wind up just donating them somewhere eventually.
(One thing I have learned is DO NOT THINK TOO HARD ABOUT THE DISTANT FUTURE AND WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN WITH THESE or DO NOT THINK TOO HARD ABOUT 'YOU PROBABLY HAVE MORE SUPPLIES NOW THAN YOU WILL EVER USE, OR BOOKS YOU WILL EVER READ' because that sends me into a spiral of staring into the abyss and I've done that much too much these past 2 years.)

I would love to have that extra copy of Coffeehouse Knits; I am sorely missing my Saturday knitting group at our local coffeehouse. I'm happy to reimburse you for postage.
Your quilt blocks are lovely. And I love what you wrote about staring into the abyss. Thank you for that.
Oh I have done that stare into the abyss more and more. Especially about all the books and yarn and fabric. We both need to stop staring.
I love the squares tho. They look so cheerful.
