Doge says it

Because I can't leave well enough alone, here's a Doge about all the "feels" I had related to that ad I referenced:

And yeah, that's probably about the size of it: most things we see as a "calling" are probably slightly ridiculous.

("Badly explain your job" - that was a thing on Twitter. I finally went with "I talk in other people's sleep" which is a very old joke about being a professor - and therefore not original.

I think a lot of this is brought to you courtesy of Midlife, where I'm at the point of asking "Is this really all there is?" but haven't gotten to the Peggy Lee stage of things yet)
