Deleted about 50 spam comments from some Chinese spammer.
So word verification - or whatever Blogger does now - is back on until later notice. I know some of y'all hate it and it makes you less likely to comment, but sometimes it's too depressing to get a ratio of one "real" comment to 50 or so spam ones, and I hate the thought that there are jerk companies out there thinking they can use my blog for free advertising of whatever scam they are running.
it's Monday, I have a headache, and I'm grumpy. I have a student (not my own) doing a late-afternoon defense and then I have an evening meeting I now HAVE to be at because the two people in charge are mysteriously, suddenly "out of town" (probably because they got Columbus Day off.)
