Someone on ITFF mentioned Bartleby the Scivener and I now totally know what I will do if I am pressured to join a "fitness team" on campus*
I will form Team Bartleby.
I can even see AWESOME team t-shirts.
On the front, it would say
GO TEAM BARTLEBY
on the back, in v. small letters, it would say,
"I would prefer not to."
What? It's literary. We do literary on campuses.
(*Almost certainly not, sign ups end tomorrow and most of the e-mails today about stuff have been "save the date" about Homecoming. Die Merkfähigkeit ist kurze.)
