Well, maybe not.

I think I'm NOT going to go to McKinney this weekend, as I've already spent some money on crafty stuff lately.

The biggest thing? Cloud 9 fabrics has Ed Emberley-inspired prints for quilting. I LOVE Ed Emberley, his books were a big thing in my childhood, and I like the idea of making myself even a small quilt with fabrics with his critters on it. So I bought a piece with the frogs (his way of drawing them is pretty distinctive) and the octopi were cute. And I had to have a piece of the elephant print because it had a few of the other animals mixed in. (Loopy Ewe, which is one of my favorite places to order yarn from and which now has fabrics, has it available).

Also, Phydeaux designs is re-introducing (for a short time) a colorway called Corazon (pinks, peaches) that I liked but didn't get any of before, so I went ahead and pre-ordered a skein.

Anyway, staying home and working on stuff (and getting to see the new MLP episode) appeals to me more for this Saturday. I might still run to Sherman for a Natural-Foods store run and to visit the bookstore, but I can do that in the afternoon.

And I have a lot of projects ahead. And I'm a couple blocks away on the current quilt in the frame from doing the borders. And I have a bunch of quilt-ideas zooming around in my head, ideas that I already have fabric for.

(And I get Martin Luther King, Jr. day off. Which may well be spent sewing.)
