Very small ice pellets are coming down. But the good news: they're coming down as pellets and apparently not freezing rain - the tree branches aren't accumulating any ice, which means power lines will not accumulate any ice. If the cold air profile stays the same (or gets deeper), maybe we won't have to worry about power outages, thank goodness.
I also see that Nelson Mandela has died. RIP, sir. It seems strange to hear that because I was growing into adulthood when he was released from prison, and when all the changes took place in South Africa, and he ultimately became their president. There are some people who seem to be "always" around, even if they're in the background of the news.
I got the Sunday School lesson done and feel a little better about it. Put a potato in the oven to bake for dinner. Now I have to practice piano - I'm going to do the meatballs after dinner, I think.
