Modeling the shawl

Here's the shawl being worn. I'm glad I made it bigger because it sits much more nicely on my shoulders than it otherwise might.

I also started the Putney shawl. This is going to be invigilating knitting today because it's a simple enough pattern that I can knit it without looking at it. (you do some 256 rows of garter stitch with increases every second and fourth row). The yarn-over loops (righthand side) form the foundation of a lace edging that gets knitted on at the end.
