In some random link-following, I ran across the the Tumblr blog of Taija Viglila. The link that brought me there was her picture of The Disney Princesses aged relative to when their films came out (I'm guessing Snow White dyes her hair...). It's an interesting idea and I always enjoy these "reimagining" type things. (The little girl hiding behind the chair is Tiana, from the Frog Prince movie and the baby is Rapunzel...the most recent "Princesses." I'm guessing that's Belle serving tea with Pocahontas standing next to her).
What made me stop, though, was this: The 'Mane Six' drawn more like real horses.
Lots of interesting drawings on there...I hesitate to call it "fan art" because that seems dismissive of the work. (If you scroll through the blog, there are a few "comic burlesque" (nothing worse than PG, though) drawings on there.)
Also: Princesses as hipsters.
