Back to the over-break projects.

I did do one little amigurumi (and it was littler than I anticipated after it was done). This was using a pattern called Roly Poly Cats:

Sushi Cat!

I made the cat out of blue, to try to match Sushi Cat from that online game. I also tried to make the face a bit like Sushi Cat's, but I wound up having to add whiskers because a cat without whiskers looks too weird to me.

It's tiny and kind of squooshy (I understuffed it a little bit) and cute.

And I can do things like this:

OM NOM NOM

OM NOM NOM.

I didn't have any tiny Re-Ment sushi (maybe I will have to rectify that...) for Sushi Cat to eat, but I found the most sushi-looking Re-Ment food I had. Because things like that amuse me.

I think a set of these, maybe weighted a bit (with a bag full of stuffing pellets in their middles) would make nice juggling balls - they might be a bit small but maybe by using a thicker yarn and a bigger hook you could get them larger. Or a set of these strung up as a mobile would be interesting. Or one with a bell deep in its middle as a toy for a small child (in that case, all features should be embroidered).
