Aw, sad. Rue McClanahan has passed on. (Now, only Betty White remains of the Golden Girls).
The show started when I was in high school and my mom and I used to watch it. And we'd laugh over a lot of the double entendres together.
It was actually one of the first "grown-up" situations (in the sense of the humor being a little naughty at times) that I experienced with my mom so I'll always have fond memories of it.
We still once in a while - when we are together or talking over the phone - break out with one of the lines from the show. (I think Rose really was my favorite character on there and it's her lines I tend to remember most)
