Kogepan makes it on to Serious Eats.

I've liked Kogepan since I first learned about him. (He's a little Korean cartoon character: a burnt bread bun with an Eeyore-like outlook on life). I managed to track down and (at some expense, at least compared to things like Beanie Babies) buy a little Kogepan beanbag.

There are a number of cartoons featuring him on Youtube - some are even captioned in English so you can better figure out what's going on.
