And, we're done!
A meeting I had this afternoon was cancelled (there would not have been a quorum. It was nice that the person convening the meeting called me to let me know before I went to it).
So, I'm going to go home, do laundry, relax, and get ready to go tomorrow.
I have a sweater and a vest in mind in case I happen to see suitable yarn for either one: Honeycomb (And I'm pretty sure Stitches N Stuff sells that very yarn, and yes, I want to use that one). I think that vest would look good on me; other vests of a similar design do. I might choose a different color, though - either a deep blue, or a bottle-green, if either is available.
And the sweater is Terra. I'm less sure of a yarn for this - I guess the original was knit in a heavy worsted/bulky weight (it's 14 sts to 4") and I have to admit this is a yarn weight I rarely use - I generally prefer to make sweaters out of worsted or finer weight yarns, because (a) you can do more fancy stitch-stuff on a finer yarn and (b) bigger person + bulky yarn = the illusion of an even BIGGER person. (Then again...the model Terra is on is not a wee small thing and it looks fine on her.)
Other than maybe getting yarn for one of those, I plan to look for small-quantity amounts for small things - hats and scarves and mittens and stuff. I feel a want to make more small projects. And more toys. I've already written down the colors I need to get/replace for Resisty and for Captain Capacitor (which always makes me think of the old cartoon, Captain Caveman). I need to get more grey Wool-ease as the two shades of grey in that yarn should be just right, and I've mostly all used up what I had.
And I have an absolutely darling bat pattern I ordered. I already have the right "body" color, I just need something good for the wings.
I MISS making toys when I'm not making them. And there are so many fun patterns out there.
So, yay. Tomorrow I will be at Barron's and Stitches N Stuff and probably also Michael's and Books A Million and maybe Kohl's (I do still need to look for blouses. But for me, clothes-shopping is far less fun than book or craft-supply shopping...)

Yay! Finished!
Hope you have a lovely vacation and time to yourself.
I had forgotten about honeycomb and it looks like a winner. For myself I'd change the neckline, but I remember how lovely you looked in the vest you made last year (I think, I have the book, I know you looked great in it, but I can not remember the name of the pattern. Old age?)
Back to school was the one I was thinking about.
Enjoy the break! And thanks for the link to Terra. I'm going to add it to my queue right now!
I think that Terra will look stunning on you.
The bat is cute; have you seen the Bat Shawl?
