Another wonderful Little Dee comic.
I get what Blake means...there are certain things that I "just like," and I really don't know why.
(Years back, when my mom had a big garden, she used to do a lot of canning. I didn't help MUCH - being a child and being expected to stay away from the hot steam and glass - but I did enjoy canning-time; there is something that feels kind of "right" about putting food by.)

feel blessed. i was expected to help from the age of about 6 on (i shucked corn and shelled peas in those days). makes it hard to want to can/freeze nowadays
