I started the new SitCom Chic, using K1C2 "Second Time Cotton." This is a "recycled" cotton yarn ("recycled" in the sense that it's pre-consumer waste; I guess it's leftovers from textile milling, re-spun and dyed).




I'm using the color called "Atlantis," which I really like - sort of a denim blue plied with a blue-green and a purplish.

Like most plied cotton yarns, it does risk splitting a little, though I found once I got past the 3 rows of ribbing and increased to the larger (size 8) needle, splitting was a lot less common.
