Yes, Lydia, I've seen the "Ram" a-lama-ding-dong. It may, in fact (in the original run of the Muppet Show, which was, and is, and ever shall be, my favorite television show) have been my first exposure to it.

And speaking of doo-wop: Serious opera buffs may find this offensive but I thought it was absolutely wonderful and hilarious (especially given the "supertitles") - a doo wop-ifed version of "O Mio Babbino Caro" from Gianni Schicchi (and yes, O Mio Babbino Caro does mean something like, "Oh my beloved daddy")
